Check text and leading zeros before saving XLSX

  1. Choose how to read the file

    Select a CSV, TSV or TXT file and set encoding and delimiter. Start with detection; if Korean text looks wrong, choose UTF-8 or EUC-KR and reload.

  2. Compare the preview

    Check that values fall in the correct columns. Set empty-row and header options, and keep text preservation on for codes or phone numbers.

  3. Save the workbook

    Name the sheet and download .xlsx. If you change encoding, delimiter or empty-row handling, reload the preview to update the data being saved.

A worked example

Keep a product code’s leading zero

Start with
CSV with code,name and 00123,Bolt; Preserve cells as text enabled
Check the result
Save an .xlsx containing 00123 as a text cell.

Use text preservation for meaningful leading zeros. Date formatting is not assigned automatically; adjust it in Excel if needed.
