Images & Documents tool
Compare original and revised text at matching line numbers, with markers for removed and added lines.
Lines are compared by position; an inserted line does not realign later matches.
Change markers
Enter the original and revised text, then select Compare. Blank lines and whitespace differences count too.
Unchanged lines have two leading spaces. Changed original lines have − and revised lines have +, so one replacement appears as two output lines.
Adding a line near the start shifts later comparisons. If many lines are marked, look for the insertion that changed their positions.
