Savings value per visit
Add daily storage and avoided transport, then subtract any locker fee still paid per visit. Divide season price by this value and round up for break-even visits.
- Visit savings = daily storage + avoided transport − locker visit fee
- Break-even visits = season price ÷ visit savings, rounded up
Example for a 250 season locker
If daily storage is 15 and avoided transport is 8, each visit saves 23.
250 divided by 23 is about 10.87, so the locker reaches cost break-even on visit 11.
Deposits and shared use
Exclude a fully refundable deposit and include only non-refundable registration or administration fees.
For permitted family sharing, use total visits and actual cost shares, but first confirm name and access rules.
Conditions beyond cost
Size, boot drying, security, access dates, and refund terms may matter more than the numeric result. Confirm that all intended gear fits.
Shuttle users may avoid more transport cost than drivers, so use your own travel pattern.
