Select a photo and run Automatic cutout, or start erasing manually. Switching to manual after an automatic cutout keeps the current result.
Erase and restore
Zoom in to erase leftover background and restore missing parts of the subject. Use Move to reach another area, and undo a misplaced stroke.
Choose the background
Use transparency for an image you will place in another design, or choose a solid color. Download the PNG to keep your edits.

A worked example

Clean inside a cup handle

Start with: Cup photo → automatic cutout → small Erase brush
Check the result: Save a PNG after removing the background left inside the handle.

The checkerboard marks transparency. Restore brings back original pixels, so compare the cup edges as you work.
