This example is a solid image that is not downscaled. Edges and reduced photographs can contain blended colors.

Click the area you need
Click a point in the image to change the selected color, or select a palette swatch. Check the color sample and HEX value together.
Copy the selected HEX
Use Copy to take the current value. A broad, uniform area is often easier to sample than an edge or a partly transparent region.
