Enter the shift times
Set the start and end of one shift. For an overnight shift, an end time earlier than the start is treated as the following day.
Enter breaks in minutes
Add the break time to exclude. Compare time on site with actual daily work to check that the break has been deducted.
Check repeated days and decimal hours
Enter the number of days with the same schedule for a cumulative total. Decimal hours can fit a time-record form, but do not confuse the decimal with minutes.
A worked example
Ten at night until six the next morning

- 22:00–06:00 / 60-minute break / five days
- Check the result
- 8 hours on site, 7 hours worked daily, 35 hours total and 7.00 h per day
The earlier end time advances to the next day. The total repeats the same seven-hour workday five times.
